Highway Position

- Tanks, planes, and helicopters can travel to other maps via the highway - Trains via the map edge where the tracks leave the map - Boats via the map edge where the river leaves the map

Fuel Costs

Using highways consumes fuel. The amount required depends on the fuel consumption of the vehicle/unit using the highway. 20% of the amount is credited to the destination map upon arrival (so you don't arrive with 0 fuel and can't do anything). To use the highway, 1000x the vehicle/ helicopter's fuel consumption per second during normal travel is required. For example, for a Willy it's 5,000 fuel. 1,000 fuel is credited to the destination map upon the Willy's arrival.

Sufficient Military Centers
The destination map must have enough free military points. Military centers can expand these. If you have more military points than the maximum military point capacity across multiple maps, the highway cannot be used. Solutions: Build military centers/military administration buildings or reduce military points by sending troops into combat.
Sufficient Group Limit
The destination map must have enough free group limit available to use the highway. If you have more groups than the group limit across multiple maps, the highway cannot be used. Solutions: Build group limit expansion buildings, conquer more bases, or reduce groups by sending troops into combat or by merging groups.
Free Conquest Vehicle

If you don't have a base on a map and destroy an enemy's base defense, you receive a free conquest vehicle to capture the base. You can bring in a conquest vehicle via an allied airport (Cost: 250 Gold)

New Maps are Protected
Highways to the two newest maps, as well as maps that existed less than 7 days ago, are blocked. Maps 1-10 have no highways. You can neither leave nor enter via highways here.
